Why sponsor?
FreshStops is free for vendors because we believe local, direct-to-consumer sellers shouldn't have to pay a platform fee to be found. But running a platform costs money — hosting, development, and support all add up. That's where sponsors come in.
We partner with organizations that share our mission of supporting local agriculture, small businesses, and direct-to-consumer commerce. Sponsorship keeps the platform free for the vendors who need it most.
Who can sponsor?
We welcome sponsorships from organizations related to the direct-to-consumer and local agriculture space, including:
- Producer associations — e.g., maple syrup producers associations, state beekeeping associations, farm bureaus, etc.
- Agricultural cooperatives — co-ops that support small farmers and producers
- Local and regional tourism boards — organizations that promote rural tourism and agritourism
- Agricultural supply companies — businesses that serve the farming and DTC community
- Community foundations — nonprofits that support rural communities and local economies
- Food and agriculture nonprofits — organizations focused on food access, sustainability, or farm-to-table initiatives

Member badge
A sponsor badge displayed on the profiles of your member vendors on FreshStops. We match members by email and manually confirm any others, so your members get visible recognition.
Brand visibility
Your organization's logo and link featured on the FreshStops website, reaching customers and vendors in your region who are actively engaged in the local food economy.
Community impact
Your sponsorship directly supports the small, independent vendors your organization represents. You're helping them reach new customers and grow their businesses at no cost to them.
Targeted advertising
Optional advertising placement on the platform. Reach customers who are actively shopping for local, direct-to-consumer goods — a highly relevant audience for agricultural and DTC organizations.
How sponsorship works
Sponsorships can take the form of financial support, advertising partnerships, or a combination of both. We work with each sponsor to create an arrangement that makes sense for their organization and budget. There are no fixed tiers — we believe in flexible partnerships that deliver real value.
For member badge matching: when your organization sponsors FreshStops, we'll work with you to match your member vendors to their FreshStops profiles. We can match by email address for most members and will manually confirm any that need verification. The badge appears on their vendor profile and stand pages.
